I was really excited to be asked by Hannah Tan from Redfin to be featured in a recent article, “Working With an E-Designer? Here are 10 Things You Should Know”. E-Design has actually been around for a few years, but is still very new to a lot of people. She included tips from other seasoned E-Designers who gave some really great advice as well as information that explains what we as designers are looking for from the client and what the client can expect from us. One Room Challenge | Week 1

I am BEYOND excited to take part in my very first One Room Challenge for Spring 2020!! If you aren’t familiar with the ORC- it is an event that happens every Spring and Fall where designers select a space in their home to transform within a 6 week period (we currently have 8 weeks due current events). The talent is both jaw-dropping and inspiring as a fellow designer. Make sure you check out the website to see where these spaces began.

Since moving into a new home this past August, I have been working on quite a few rooms at the same time- but none of them are quite finished. I decided to tackle my office in the One Room Challenge. Its a perfect office space for what I need to work in and its really perfect for my first go with the ORC. I have a few pieces that I will be reusing in the space, but I will also be adding to this as well.

I can’t wait to get going on my own room, but it is also a really cool thing to get to know other designers and get introduced to new products and manufacturers.
